Just worked the past few days in pastel and sumi ink with some images I had from a trip in October to the Methow. This image was from amazing spot near Mazama, on an abandoned farm. It was late in the day and the fruit trees were glistening against a dramatic wall of rock. The feeling was that of being in a cathedral somewhere in Europe. Humbling.
Note on first posting: The colors are not as they appear in the original. Need to work on that.
